This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Telesales Executive to join an expanding business based in St.Ives, you'll be joining a successful sales team working in luxury offices.

Founded 12 years ago, my client is the UK's market leading online heating oil price comparison siteprice comparison site. Based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, the business has very recently secured investment from middle market specialist private equity growth investor Livingbridge (www.livingbridge.com). The investment will allow the business to build on its track record of growth, based on generating new and recurring business from a rapidly growing customer base and proprietary technology.

Description

The Company now 's board wishes to appoint an enthusiastic Supply Commercial Telesales Executive Administrator to contribute in generating sales for our Company. Working alongside the complement the existing Sales and Support teams you will be responsible for generating and closing commercial opportunities over the phone and further improve the relationships with the suppliers. My client has already proven that there are many commercial supplier engagement leads generated on a daily basis via our website and that a dedicated commercial executive helps to convert quotes to orders.

  • Finding new commercial opportunities, selling the benefits and queries via phone and email and building long-term relationships for regular commercial orders

  • Working closely with the internal Supply Team LeaderSyndicates sales team and existing customer service/sales team and other members

  • Working closely with the internal Supply Team LeaderSyndicates sales team and existing customer service/sales team and other members of the Supply Team to ensure continual growth in new opportunities

  • To deliver new commercial business to BoilerJuice using quote data provided by the system to convert warm leads.Work towards company annual targets without compromising the excellent reputation that the brand has become known for

  • To contact potential customers to seek out new opportunities for commercial revenue by targeting key business sectorsRunning data to support the Supply Team in their daily pricing and delivery option analysis

  • To work with existing commercial clients to ensure retained business and year on year growthSupport in the analysis of this data, with a view to assisting the team in effectively lowering prices in areas where conversion rates are lower than average

  • Maintenance of Excel spreadsheets and internal diary system.To ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales

  • Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information

  • Creating coverage maps for existing and prospective suppliers

  • Work towards monthly targets without compromising the excellent reputation that the brand has become known for

Profile

The successful candidate must have the following:

  • Have an excellent telephone manner
  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills. A proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota, preferably over the telephone
  • Someone with good attention to detail is essential. Be a self-starter, who is confident in picking up warm leads to convert to sales
  • Have a high degree of self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to think on your feet, to resolve issue and handle complaints

Job Offer

This is a permanent role based in St.Ives with parking facilities available. The basic salary is paying between £25,000 - £28,000 with the opportunity to earn an annual bonus up to 20% of salary on targets achieved on completion of probation.

You'll receive a benefit's package including BUPA (or similar) on completion of probation, Pension Company and personal contribution.
