Telephony Business Development Manager

Intermediaries are at the heart of our mortgage business and as an Intermediary led lender we strive to be 'best loved lender’ and it’s our brilliant team that creates those memorable experiences that build long lasting relationships.

You will have the opportunity to work within our successful Intermediary Team as a Telephone Business Development Manager and we will count on you to manage, develop and nurture relationships with our Intermediary Partners through a truly differential experience.

As an energetic and enthusiastic communicator you will have the ability to engage with brokers through a variety of channels, be innovative, different from other lenders and stand out from the crowd -using inbound/outbound telephone activity, webex presentations /conference calls and exploring innovative ways to interact with Intermediaries registered with Virgin Money.

You will be passionate about our Virgin brand, results orientated and will be an amazing ambassador for Virgin Money. You will promote the benefits of our excellent proposition, help intermediaries to understand our policies and processes and make it easy for them to do business with us. You will also play a fundamental part in growing our business share across our intermediary accounts.

To succeed in this role a mortgage background would be advantageous as would a knowledge of the Intermediary market place, but most importantly you must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, previous sales through service experience and a desire to grow our mortgage business. Self-motivation and flexibility are key to the role, you will have the responsibility to manage your activities throughout the day to achieve our business objectives - bringing "everyone’s better off" to life in the intermediary world.

Salary: from £22,500 per annum dependant on experience, plus a range of excellent benefits

Location: Gosforth - Intermediary Sales

Hours: Currently, standard working hours are 9-5:30. However, the role requires flexibility and a variable hours contract will be required covering Monday -Friday 8am-8pm and Saturday and Sunday
