Our client based in Newcastle upon Tyne have an exciting opportunity to work as a Telephone Account Manager on the National Apprenticeship Service team. This role will provide a dedicated telephone based account management service to apprenticeship levy paying employers to help them realise the benefits of apprenticeships and to maximise the investment of the apprenticeship levy through their apprenticeships programmes.
Key Responsibilities include:-
Actively manage a portfolio of levy paying employers through the end to end customer journey.
Help increase the take up of high quality apprenticeships in line with performance expectations.
To engage with employers, at senior decision making level, to sell the benefits of apprenticeships and embed them into their strategic talent management policies.
To support employers on strategies to embed apprenticeships and offering expertise on appropriate standards and frameworks, gaps in the workforce, funding requirements, etc.
To provide helpful information on the apprenticeship levy, supporting employers to understand the impact of the levy on their business and provide support to employers to invest the levy aligned to their training and development strategy.
To work with employers so they are able to realise their return on investment in apprentice recruitment.
To provide a personalised link to employers ensuring they understand how to access and use the tools available including; Manage Apprenticeships, Find an Apprenticeship, Find Apprenticeship Training, as well as securing their active involvement in feedback on the National Apprenticeship Service to support continuous improvement.
To ensure CRM data requirements and records are accurate and up to date for all accounts within caseloads.
Successful applicants must be educated to Level 3 qualified or have extensive Apprenticeship experience.
You must possess excellent communicate skills with the ability to negotiate and influence in order to establish strong relationships with employers to understand their business and help them to understand how apprenticeships offer a viable solution to their recruitment and training needs.
Both excellent telephone manner with exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must.
Highly motivated with a particular aptitude for working towards time sensitive targets and high attention to details with focus on an accurate data recording.
The job role is due to commence mid-December where full training will be provide and the pay is a temp to perm role paying £10.25 an hour.
An assessment will be required and also registration with the Agency.
