Telemarketing Executive

£16,000-£20,000 + £12,000 bonus/OTE

Greater Manchester

Our Client, a leading organisation within the technology and consultancy sector is currently seeking a Telemarketing Executive to join their growing team on a full time, permanent basis in Bury. The suitable candidate will be responsible for generating new B2B opportunities within key markets and varied verticals via the telephone, email and social media channels.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Contacting businesses to feed field sales teams with new business opportunities via diarised appointments within a defined geographical area
  • Following up on prospect data, inbound leads and marketing campaigns to build a suitable pipeline of sales opportunities
  • Ensuring all key details are kept up to date on all leads where possible
  • Utilising specialist tools, social media channels and up to date industry news to identify business issues which help position the product and provide a competitive advantage
  • Driving own activity to achieve set KPIs
  • Maintaining a professional approach to maximise conversion rates
  • Effectively utilising data and the CRM database to update records
  • Working closely with other departments where required
  • Achieving lead/campaign conversion rates
  • Effectively completing reports in Salesforce.com

Skills and experience:

  • 2 years’ experience in a telephone based, B2B sales role
  • Experience of liaising with SMB Businesses
  • Knowledge of the sales process
  • Proven ability to achieve set KPIs
  • Confident and personable individual
  • Willingness to learn
  • Educated to a minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) level - Maths and English essential
  • Experience using LinkedIn or Salesforce.com ideal but not essential
