Location: Bredbury, Stockport

Salary: £22,000

Established in 1997, Our Client helps growing businesses improve efficiency and solve problems using IT and communications technology. With ambitious growth plans, they currently have around 40 people in their team. Vital experience needed:

* Business to business customer service in a telecoms technical support capacity
* Good standard of general education (9 GCSE's grade A-C or equivalent)

About the opportunity:

This is your chance to join a small, established and growing business and work in a 'non-call centre', tightly knit customer service team. You'll have freedom to think for yourself and to deliver results in your way.

You'll be office based, liaising with internal and external contacts to support our customers and resolve faults across our full range of products and services; business telephone line (Analogue/ISDN/SIP), Virtualised numbers, internet connections (ADSL, Fibre, Ethernet), telephone systems and business mobiles.

The day to day work involves:

  • Troubleshooting faults via telephone and email with customers and 3rd party providers
  • Solving problems and offering advice
  • Raising 3rd party faults and managing communication
  • Maintaining accurate records in internal systems

Your experience:

  • Business to business customer service in a telecoms technical support capacity
  • Working in a small, growing business
  • Technical problem solving
  • Computer literate - MS Office Suite
  • Good standard of general education (9 GCSE's grade A-C or equivalent)
  • Specific experience of working with our products / partners would be an advantage (BT Open Reach, Gamma, Zen Internet)

Candidates with experience or relevant job titles of; Tech Support, Technology Service, Customer Service Manager, Tech Assistance, Customer Assistance may also be considered for this role.
