Telecoms Account Director - Wholesale

Job title: Telecoms Account Manager or Account Director within Wholesale space

Salary-£40k-£65k base depending on experience, up to £65k OTE and up to £65k in shares.

Reporting to: Sales Director

Location:London, EC4 (Temple/Blackfriars)

Introduction

Our client is a global provider of bandwidth infrastructure services, including dark fibre, wavelengths, SONET, Ethernet, IP services, and carrier-neutral colocation and interconnection.

The sales team is responsible for winning, retaining and growing large corporate customer across all industry verticals. Sales teams are based around different regions but all collaborate to achieve success.

Principal responsibilities for the Telecoms Account Director

  • Effectively manage and grow revenue from key accounts within the wholesale space.

  • Develop and deliver new opportunities that grow margin and revenues.

  • Drive performance through your opportunity portfolio - assume success.

  • Build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders within the business.

  • Deliver sales results on a quarterly and annual basis.

  • Manage a clearly defined renewal plan for all of your customers.

  • Build a pipeline of opportunity which is accurately tracked and managed through SalesForce.Com.

  • Plan for success by building and executing against contingency plans if any metric or KPI is projected to fall below 100% performance.

  • Drive overall global performance.

  • Track record of success in Sales process and opportunity management

  • Track record of selling connectivity to the wholesale space
  • Passion to succeed and to be part of a high performing team

  • Confidence in your own ability to succeed

  • Real desire to differentiate with your opportunities and be self-motivated

  • Uncompromising in your drive to succeed

  • Fully prepared to take corrective action that may be necessary

  • Excellent internal relationships and network

  • Strong influencing and persuasive skills

  • Salesforce.com experience desirable

  • Financially astute
