Tele-Appointer/Telesales Executive

The Tele-Appointer is a focused and targeted business-to-business (b2b) role consisting of cold calling and lead generation with a view to making appointments for the New Business Executives, with communication via telephone calls, emails and occasionally by fax and letter.

The ability to make an excellent first impression is extremely important. The Tele-Appointer will be responsible for representing the Company, lead generation and opening the door for New Business Executives to bring new clients on board. This is a 100% new business, focused and target driven role.

Accountabilities

  • Liaising with New Business Executives (NBEs) on a daily basis to discuss updates, plans and targets

  • To be able to identify / qualify the businesses and decision makers that the company wants to target to exceed individual targets on a consistent basis

  • Influence and convince prospects to meet with a NBE by delivering a professional sales pitch discussing Orchards services and products.

  • Resilience and the capacity to grow and adapt to an ever changing work environment.

  • Maintains and updates the company database with accurate information on a daily basis.

  • Liaise with potential clients by telephone and email, providing prospects with required information in professional format with a view Orchard’s services and company history.

  • To prepare and produce reports when required.

  • Provide support to new employees and provide on the job training where required encouraging new team members to thrive within the business.

  • Experience of selling products/services or delivering customer service by telephone is essential.

  • Strong customer service skills and interpersonal skills are essential.

  • Good planning/organisational skills are essential

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

  • Conscientious and hard-working work ethic is essential.

  • Ability to work quickly and accurately within deadlines/targets is essential

  • The ability to work effectively within a team and on individual project work as required is essential.

  • Confident and resilient approach is essential.

  • Strong negotiations skills are essential.

  • Strong relationship management skills are essential in order to develop strong relationships internally and with external clients.

  • Commercial awareness is important in order to deliver value for both the company and its customers.

  • Strong IT skills are essential - knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

  • Strong problem solving skills and innovative approach is essential.

  • Proactive approach to researching and contacting potential customers is essential.

  • Knowledge of the Energy Market would be an advantage, however, thorough training will be provided
