Engineering Technician job required for Design Contractor to work in Norfolk on a permanent basis.

In your new job you will be working for a design contractor who have civil, structural & geotechnical teams across the offices. The company are part of a larger web and therefore have a very well established name across East Anglia and London. The Design arm of the company are based in Cambridge, Kings Lynn and Attleborough with this job working in Attleborough. Projects are varied from housing developments to big commercial works such as car dealerships and multi-storey car parks.
Your new role
In your new job as an Engineering Technician you will be producing drawings, reports and specs ensuring they are compliant to regulations. You will also be in contact with senior staff to decide and format the scope of data required for the project, visit sites to measure surveys and providing checks on various procedures. You will also need to translate drawings - manufacturers to working level.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for this job you will need to have 5 years minimum industry experience and competent in software's including AutoCAD and structural detailing such as Revit. You will need to have working knowledge of building regulations, structural steel and R.C. detailing and experience in Civil design work.
