Technical Training Manager

As part of their plan for growth in 2018, we are looking for an experienced Technical Training specialist to plan, implement and deliver training initiatives, both on-line and off-line, that will meet the needs of internal staff and support external clients in the use of their software solutions.

The Technical Training Manager will have a broad remit with tasks that will include (but of course not limited to!):

  • Work with internal stankeholders to set policy and procedures for all training and delivery
  • Create engaging communications and course content to be delivered in various formats including Webinars, workshops and e-training etc.
  • Develop new starter training & onboarding course
  • Deliver training for colleagues and clients at all levels
  • Manage a small team of Technical Trainers
  • Manage and plan training pipeline
  • Provide statistics and data to demonstrate ROI and guide future training initiatives

We are seeking a highly proactive and creative individual with 3-5 years’ experience of training delivery within a growing Technology business; those with a background in HCM software (for example, payroll, employee benefits, talent management) will be of particular interest. Ideally you will be a graduate and hold, or be making progress towards, relevant L&D and/or training qualifications.

You will be able to demonstrate the ability to contribute to L&D strategy and be hands on with training design and delivery. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the confidence to work with colleagues from C-level down are essential. Most importantly, you will have the drive to thrive in a values-based and caring company which lives by its values on a day-to-day basis.
