As a Technical Team Leader, you will be responsible for the leadership and mentoring a team of Microsoft .Net Developers. You will be the technical lead responsible for application development in one or more projects at any given time and you will be expected to undertake duties such as; consulting with business customers/department heads to gather project requirements, producing scopes for the senior executive team for signoff, maintaining/grooming backlogs and defining clear user stories for the development team using Agile Scrum methodologies
You will be responsible for driving the architecture of all systems, implementing best practices, improving the Software Development Lifecycle and educating the team to follow those standards. In addition, you would be responsible for communication to the wider company on past and future development projects and expected to organise workshops both for demonstrative and focus group purposes. We are also looking for an individual to improve our build and deployment process and implement better processes, tools, techniques and plans for testing and QA.
Most of this role is hands off so would suit someone who has come from a development background that wants to focus more on the organisation/management side of the industry and be more focused toward the project management within an Agile development team. As such this role would require a highly organised, self-motivated individual with outstanding communication and management skills, the candidate should work well under pressure and display evidence of excellent problem solving and organisational skills.
This role will report directly to the Technology Director, this is an exciting and varied role with the opportunity to use the latest technologies, work on interesting and challenging projects and still have autonomy to make this role your own.

*Experience of Build and Deployment Tools - Team City / Octopus Deploy for example
Desirable but not essential
*Experience of Mixed Project Management Environments - such as Waterfall or Prince2 with Agile Scrum to be able to satisfy business and development requirements
*Scrum Master Qualification
*Use of Microsoft Project
*Awareness or Experience in the Gift Card or Payment Industry
2-3 Years' Experience in a Technical Team Leadership or Lead Developer Role
3-5 Years in a C# Development Role
