Technical Support Helpdesk Agent

Do you have technical support helpdesk agent experience? Do you have technical knowledge of Professional AV equipment, Projectors, CCTV / Security Technology or Professional Broadcast Cameras? Have you previously been an engineer in any of the above fields and would like to gain experience in a technical support helpdesk agent position? Do you want to get out of field based work, into an office based role? If yes, we want to hear from you!

Our global client, with offices in north Cardiff are looking to fill a new post within their international contact centre, which will see you supporting the customer service advisors, providing a technical support function for complex customer queries.

Job title: Technical Support Helpdesk Agent

Contract: Temporary to permanent

Location: North Cardiff (free on-site parking)

Pay rate: £10.00 per hour (with occasional overtime)

Hours: 38.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm


In addition to the above pay, as a Technical Support Helpdesk Agent you will also be eligible for the following great benefits package:

To be successful in gaining an interview for this Technical Support Helpdesk Agent role, your CV must demonstrate experience in at least one of the following areas:

  • Professional AV including Flat Panel Display and Projector
  • CCTV / Security Technology
  • Professional Broadcast Cameras

In addition, you should possess the following key skills:

  • Teamwork
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal, listening and written
  • Trouble shooting skills
  • Network experience
  • Applications support
  • Experience of customer facing activities is ideal
  • You must possess the ability to think logically and clearly, able to make decisions and use your own judgement when necessary
