My client is a global electronics manufacturer who have been established for over 45 years. They are market leaders in providing TV's, Washing machines, Cookers fridge freezers etc as well as telecommunications products.
The position will focus on
Managing product KPI's
Reviewing technical return data
Ensure all new products are introduced successfully from a technical prospective
Field visits to kitchen specialists and store support
Work with other team members to ensure KPI's are met and managed
The ideal technical support field service engineer candidate will be qualified to HND level and already be working in a technical support role within consumer electronics, especially within Digital appliances. Must have a good working knowledge of mechanical engineering as well as data analysis methodology / QC testing experience. Must be able to demonstrate continuous updating of their technical knowledge to keep abreast of the fast-moving world of electronics.
Key competencies of a technical support field service engineer will focus on being energetic and passionate about digital appliances, computer literate, eye for detail, analytical, driven to deliver and have a solid understanding of technology, retail and support.
Package - Excellent basic salary, Company car, 10% to 20% bonus, flexible benefits, allowance, pension, staff sales access. Please note the position will require travel across the North West of England.
