Technical Support Engineer
Full time Permanent
Salary: £22,000.00 - £23,000.00 per annum plus excellent benefits
As part of a fast-paced Technical department you will be providing technical advice and solutions to customers both over the phone and face to face. In addition, you will be responsible for system design/ implementation, dealing with customer queries and issues. Your focus will be supporting the sales team and customers with complex matters in a professional manner whilst maintaining the brand.
Duties and responsibilities
Provide telephone support to customers experiencing technical difficulties with equipment
Test functionality of equipment and associates components
Communicate with customers in an efficient and professional manner
Attend product training on new releases of technology
Develop good customer relations
Log all calls within management software (Sage CRM) and record detailed notes
Good technical knowledge of IP networks
Excellent customer service skills
Product knowledge of Hikvision equipment preferred but not essential
