Technical Support Engineer - Mech Eng Graduate considered
Are you a Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineer with technical process knowledge or perhaps a Graduate who has obtained a technical, mechanical engineering focused degree & looking for a super company who will help kick start your career?
This is an office based, technical support role that is all about customer service rather than a hands on engineering role.
Reporting to the Team Manager of Technical Support, you will work as part of a well-functioning, competent team. You will be responsible for providing fast and effective technical support to our Clients’ global customers regarding their range of products.
You will provide the best possible service as a supplier to your customer, as well as providing value for the customer by giving technical advice and problem solving. You will also be responsible for advising on product selection, producing quotations and handling claims.
Your main responsibilities:
- Provide technical advice and support to their sales channels globally.
- Produce accurate quotations in accordance with service targets.
- Prompt and effective handling of claims to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide effective training for sales channels and colleagues as required.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Mechanical Engineering education (Degree level for Trainee)
- Fluent in English both written and verbal
- A good cultural understanding
- Good computer skills
You will need to enjoy working in a team environment, have a high energy level and drive with a positive attitude, be open and service minded and have the ability to build good customer relations both internally and externally. Some travel for meetings and training purposes will be required.
