Your new role
On the back of significant investment, we have a brand new function that requires a customer focused, logical thinking and proactive Technical Support Analyst with excellent SQL skills. Reporting directly to the Support Team Leader you will provide an excellent level of support on technical issues to external System Administrators using our software.
The role specifically focuses on providing second line support over the phone and through our dedicated online support portal within agreed SLA’s, seeing issues through to resolution. You`ll deliver exceptional customer service, empathising with our customers, keeping them informed of the status of their incident, whilst always focusing on delivering the best solutions.
The team you’ll join
This is a brand new function within EMIS Group. The team will be sat in close proximity to our Product Managers, Implementers and Developers, so you’ll get plenty of help and support. The team you’ll join will be brand new and will consist of a Team Leader, Technical Support Analysts and Problem Analysts, whilst also working closely with colleagues in our Leeds and Bolton offices.
What you’ll bring
These are the skills and experience you’ll need to set yourself up for success for this role, however we’d still love to talk to you even if you don’t tick all of them;
- Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
- Basic understanding of ITIL
- Previous experience of supporting software and interfaces
- Familiarity writing T-SQL and using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and above
- Understanding of HL7 would be advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills
