About the role
This key role with UK Enterprise IT is to continue to develop and effectively manage data. Your role will be to champion the data strategy across Enterprise IT unit.
As the owner of data integrity you will be responsible for the successful execution of strategic data management projects- primarily in the areas of customer maser data management. You will be tasked with leading and managing initiatives and projects in the areas of data migration, master data management, data clean up, data governance and quality. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing data definitions, establishing quality expectations and ensuring compliance to those expectations. As data is managed across federated applications and processes, you’ll need to be comfortable working in a matrix environment with senior stakeholders and have strong influencing skills to work with 3rd parties and other Vodafone companies.
- Good working knowledge of BSS and OSS systems and platforms
- Project management and/or technical delivery experience
- High Level Domain Knowledge of Telecom especially order to cash processes.
- Able to debate with Business Users and Collect data points based on the signed of HLDs/LLDs (good understanding of proposed solution a must – inculcated by reading HLDs and LLDs)
- Supporting testing teams by providing holistic view of the data flows and ensure stakeholders understand upstream / downstream impacts
- Experience in any of the Ordering Systems will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of BSS/OSS architectures as they relate to fixed line telecommunications
- Knowledge of best practice principles of Data Management as they apply to a large enterprise business
