For the last 25 years, my client has forged a solid reputation within the manufacturing sector. An established privately owned British business who can quote a respectable growth in staff numbers and profit during the last year. Even in these times we are business as usual.

My client manufactures some fascinating and exciting products on behalf of a variety of clients, some of which have been with them for many years, with more new clients and contracts being won.

As part of future growth plans, we need an experienced Technical Sourcing Manager, someone who is a natural leader, a motivator, a negotiator and a do-er. Someone who will roll up their sleeves and get things done mentality to and one who work closely with the company owner to source and negotiate a wide variety of products from international suppliers.

We are looking for an experienced Technical Sourcing Manager to manage and develop a small but growing team of buyers. A manager who can engage, couch and lead by example.

About you

In-depth experience to lead a sourcing team in a manufacturing environment - would expect a strong sourcing knowledge of either plastics, metals or electronics.

Skills to drive for strong commercial results.

Take ownership to make a positive impact with colleagues and suppliers

Ability to develop a sourcing strategy and implement through to a successful outcome.

International travel will be required when possible, and whilst we are flexible to home working, we would like you to be office based 1-2 days a week. The head office is located just off the M40 Oxfordshire.
