This is an incredible opportunity for the right individual to work in a family built engineering company. As an integral member of the sales team you will be responsible for sales, business development and project management. This opportunity has come around due to our company going through a huge growth currently. We are a friendly team looking for the right individual to come in and hit the ground running.

The Role

This is a full-time, permanent position, based in Middleton. As the Technical Sales Specialist / Engineer you will be responsible for selling and account management. Coming into the business you will be working with only warm leads.

Responsibilities

  • Convert sales opportunities and promote company products and services
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining company products and services to customers and prospective customers
  • Discuss technical aspects of the product and service to all stakeholders
  • Manage the complete sales process from initial inquiry to final acceptance and after sales service
  • Work with the company suppliers in the requisition of equipment and parts for customers
  • Liaise with existing customers across multiple departments in client organisations including but not limited to engineering, operations and purchasing.
  • Develop relationships with existing customers thereby increasing revenues and profitability for the company
  • Provide input to support company business planning and strategy
  • Ensure feedback from customers becomes an opportunity for improvement
  • Maintain the excellent relationship and service with customers and suppliers
