This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technical sales executive, with a strong engineering background in the food and beverage sector, to join an established Suffolk based company specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of food conveyor systems and solutions.
With the ongoing ambition to support strategic growth, the successful candidate will be a dynamic, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual, responsible for looking after existing key accounts as well as identifying new opportunities to grow and develop the existing client base within new markets.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Looking after existing key accounts
* Against agreed targets, using sales experience to generate leads and establish and develop successful business relationships with clients in new markets via face to face, telephone and email contact
* Following up on direct enquiries and regularly contacting customers to identify their pipeline requirements
* Arranging visits with new and existing clients within the region and throughout the UK
* Establishing the individual needs and requirements of both existing and potential clients and presenting best-fit solutions
* Providing design input and using pricing system to produce and issue quotations
* Ultimately generating sales for the business at a profitable margin
Experience and Skills Required:
* Must have 2-3 years sales experience
* Preferably from an engineering background with a good understanding and insight into a food/beverage manufacturing environment
* Practical knowledge of Autocad software
* Excellent communicator: written and verbal
* Strong numerical ability
* Experience of MS office: Word and Excel (essential)
* Knowledge of CRM and stock control systems (desirable)
