Our client based in Rugby due to growth and to support their technology implementation, is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer who is a qualified and ambitious individual and is searching for a new career challenge.

*Focuses on high value and technical applications.
*Supplies a number of different industries including Engineering, Aerospace, Automotive, Oil and Gas plus many more.
*Delivers consistent high quality and reliable service to our customers.

The position involves:
*Quotation development for CNC projects
*Technology Implementation to support business growth
oChange, improve, enhance internal business process pertaining to quoting, order processing, work order dispatch, along with other related projects.
*Customer base development (search out new customers and projects and foster a business relationship)

The Ideal Candidate:
*is technically minded
*has CNC Machine Tool background (Technical Sales Engineer, Continuous Improvements Engineer, Applications Engineer, CNC Machine Operator)
oKnowledge of industry standard CNC Milling and Turning Controls
oCNC Machining processes and techniques
oCNC Tooling
oCAD - 2D and 3D
*is technically minded
*has exceptional communication skills in oral and written forms
*is willing to travel when needed (25% - 35% of the time)
*can manage customer enquiries offering technical support and advice
*has the skills to develop CNC Quotations and Offers for customers and prospects
*must Support the sales strategy
ocreating leads and opportunities with existing and potential customers
*must analyse customer applications in order to propose solutions
*must be able to present recommendations to customers
*have a customer-focused disposition
*have the ability to think creatively
*consistently ensure that proposed and accepted projects are beneficial and correct in terms of both customer and business requirements
*operate cross functionally as a member of the team
*Operate consistently and respectfully in line with our mission, values and pledge understanding the business and how it is aligned to the strategy
*has an Engineering qualification - Degree / City and Guilds / NVQ
*have Commercial Awareness
