The Role: The successful Technical Sales Engineer will be selling metrology capital equipment averaging £100k although can be much higher, into the automotive, aerospace and general manufacturing industries in the main. You will be selling to quality engineers, production managers and at finance director/purchasing levels, with a solid amount of incoming leads coming your way and a great set of accounts to manage. This company offers great technical support and thorough training to ensure your success.

This division manufactures co-ordinate measuring machines and laser scanning equipment and they now seek a new Technical Sales Engineer in the North of England.

For this Technical Sales Engineer position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Field sales experience
  • You must have a track record of selling capital equipment with experience of deals in excess of £100k
  • An awareness of metrology and a good technical drawing ability
  • Any experience of working with automotive or aerospace OEMs is a bonus


Benefits of this Technical Sales Engineer role:

  • £40,000 - £50,000 Base Salary
  • + £25,000 Commission
