Technical Sales Engineer – Offshore and Civil Design Organisation – London – Office Based


Salary: competitive dependent on the individual’s experiences plus benefits including benefits package

The organisation is a growing company which designs and creates custom structures and tools for the civil and offshore wind and oil and gas markets. They are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual to join their team and help bring in new business for their UK market, with the following skills:

- Demonstrable experience as a Design Engineer

- Engineering Degree or equivalent

- Experience within Technical Sales and a strong commercial mindset

- A creative problem solver with an enthusiastic attitude to form relationships with key customers and clients

The role is as follows:

- Combining both innovative design skills of an engineer with the communication and commercial skills of a sales professional

- Detect new market opportunities for new business accounts

- Build strong relationships with existing and new clients

- Collect requirements and specifications for custom products

- Develop installation methods and create design solutions

- Creating proposals and communications solutions via sketches
