We are looking for a technical professional to join our Cloud & Support Services team in Hessle, to provide technical services before and after the point of sale, ensuring customer satisfaction. The role will be office-based but will involve frequent travel.
Working with colleagues from several departments, as well as directly with customers, you will lead, plan and coordinate technical activities relating to the delivery of Cloud Based System Implementations of software for our Higher Education customers.
Working alongside other teams, you will ensure that solutions offered achieve and exceed customer expectations. You will act as the single point of contact for technical activities for both internal and external stakeholders and you will develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
In addition, you will be responsible for making sure that all technical project deliverables are clearly defined, documented, scheduled and delivered to project milestones. You will also work with our support team to ensure effective and timely resolution of incidents during the implementation phase.
At the end of the implementation phase, you will be responsible for providing a detailed handover to colleagues such as the Service Delivery Manager.
As Tribal is a global operation, our services operate 24/7 and there is a requirement for some teams to be available outside normal office hours and/or on call.Â You may be required to manage customer plans which include occasional weekend work or non-core business hours to achieve critical deadlines.
You will have a logical and analytical approach and a strong technical background as well as experience in a similar role where you have been involved in technical troubleshooting and project management.
You will bring expert knowledge of Cloud Technologies such as AWS and Azure along with a thorough understanding of database fundamentals such as Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle Server and familiarity with web technologies such as IIS, Apache and Tomcat.
You will also have a deep understanding of client/server n-tier application deployment and expert knowledge of operating platforms including Linux and Windows.
Your considerable technical acumen will be complemented by your excellent communication, relationship-building and customer services skills. You will be at ease liaising with a wide range of people and have the ability to effectively explain technical details in a way which is easily understood by a non-technical audience.
You will be a natural problem-solver and will be used to reacting quickly to shifting priorities in a demanding environment. A pro-active and professional approach, along with a strong desire to develop and improve the customer experience, will ensure that you always strive to deliver high-quality output to tight deadlines and under pressure.
