You will be joining us at the beginning of a large digital transformation which will involve building an entirely new web application to replace the current technical solution. This is a complete re-build and the right Product Owner will take ownership of the Roadmap for this project. This re-build will be done with Ruby on Rails and deployed to cloud.
The Product Owner will:
*Work with a BA to take the project from the early planning and analysis stage to a coherent delivery plan, formulate that as a backlog, and then manage that delivery.
*Work closely with the development teams, ensuring that they are given high quality direction to build best possible product. This could include refining user stories where necessary.
*Be aware of the product roadmap and be responsible for ensuring teams are working
on the correct things, with clear direction at all times.
* Gather requirements from stakeholders and turn these into workable user stories.
*Previous experience working on a software transformation project or rebuilding an application/product
*Previous experience working with software development teams in an Agile environment
*Previous experience of owning and grooming the product backlog
*Mapping out relationships between functions and systems and formulating the AS-IS/TO-BE documentation.
*Previous experience working on complex software applications with multiple integrations
*The ability to pick things up quickly and intuitively
