My client is a chartered financial planning practice, quite small in size but a highly effective and ambitious team with a loyal and wealthy client bank who they have cemented relationships with since their inception, over 25 years ago. They typically provide advice to Entrepreneurs and Business Owners as well as those entering retirement and post retirement who need to protect their wealth and draw an income.

Currently a practice with 10 employees, the candour of a person is highly important when selecting someone to join them. In a small team it’s imperative that everyone is of a similar nature, in order to maintain the existing pleasant environment they currently work in.

The role will see the successful candidate provide technical research to Advisors, prepare client reports and suitability reports, prepare Pension Transfer reports, handle client queries, assist with the creation and evolution of model portfolios and also monitor compliance activity.

The successful candidate will have three years’ minimum experience in a paraplanning role within an IFA environment. They will also have strong knowledge of Investment and Pension Products and have experience of using Provider Platforms. Other attributes include:

  • Good organisation
  • Good time management
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain own technical knowledge around products, services and legislation.

Ideally but not essential, you will have previously used Intelligent office/ Voyant and Selectapension

In return, you will receive a highly competitive salary of up to £50,000 DOE and qualifications + benefits.
