Technical Manager - Mechanical/Mechatronics

Are you an experienced Technical Manager?

Do you have a background/degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics engineering?

With continued growth they are looking to bring on board a Technical Manager to manage all aspects of technical and engineering activities on-site covering Design, Development and Quality departments.

You will need a proven track record in management and come from a Design/Manufacture background within equipment production. Supported by strong knowledge in the following;

- Reporting to the Board

- Strong understanding of design (3D CAD)

- Strong knowledge of Quality Management (ISO9000)

- A good understanding of the design & development of new and modified equipment (mech/elec)

You would also have knowledge of the technical aspects of legislation, such as CE markings, ATEX, PED.

Ideally you will have worked in the following industries or similar;

Food OR Pharmaceutical processing equipment, design/manufacturing.

Powder handling systems

ATEX or related hazardous areas.

A lot of their products are made in stainless steel and mild steel and are ship across the globe so exposure to something similar would be advantageous.

In return for the right individual they are offering.

A starting salary of £45,000 - £50,000

Company Car or allowance

A bonus scheme which on an average of the last 10 years would be (£8,000-£12,000)
