FPSG are excited to be working in partnership with an existing client for a Technical Manager based in their East Ayrshire office. The client are an award winning organisation who have been specialising in the delivery of end-to-end IT services to both public and private sector clients throughout Scotland and the UK wide with ambitions of a presence in Europe.
The role of Technical Manager will be to hold responsibility for managing a team of Support Analysts who provide support to a wide variety of the company's clients. Ensuring that the continued excellent levels of technical support along with the high levels of customer service across the business.
The role requires a focused and driven individual who is forward thinking when it comes to technology and management. To be successful you will have a strong history of working in a similar technical environment, with a proven and demonstrable track record of the below:
* Excellent understanding of IT Support including remote support.
* Hands on with Microsoft server products, Office 365, working with third party software, VMware and Hyper V knowledge is a must.
* Preferable hands on working with WAN/LAN based products, Routers, Switches and VLANs.
This is a hands-on technical role that would suit a candidate ready to take a step into management.
