Technical Lead - Full Stack Software Developer

My client is a company specialising in automated care planning and record management software that aims to significantly quicken the current process that many care homes use.

My client is looking for an experienced, talented and ambitious engineer with a proven record of creating B2B SaaS frameworks.

This role will be a hands-on role with an emerging, ambitious company within the care industry. You will use your knowledge and expertise to collaborate with the Managing Director to develop and build the product to an even higher level of quality.

Requirements:

• Front-end: React (web), React Native (mobile), JS, Typescript - on B2B SaaS applications (not just websites or simple apps) to a Principal Engineer, Tech Lead, Lead Engineer level

• Back-end: Building scalable multi-tenant B2B SaaS backends, ideally in Python/FastAPI (but this is not essential - Node, C#, Java backend experience will be considered, although some Python experience is highly desirable).

• Industry experience: B2B SaaS, ideally with Health & Social Care applications but not essential if you demonstrate an ability to develop software to very high standards.

• A relevant university degree (Computer Science)

• Minimum 7 years experience building SaaS or similar applications.

Responsibilities:

• Offer creative inputs and solutions to issues

• Conduct architecture discussions for new features or projects

• Review code and maintain a high standard of quality

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using the appropriate technologies and frameworks

• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production environments

• Possess excellent communication skills
