Technical IT Support Engineer/Help Desk
My Client an established start up company based near Port Talbot and Expanding into global markets, the business is going through a period of rapid growth and expansion, and has won numerous awards.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within a rapidly growing company. As a Support Engineer your primary role will be to manage a support queue and be responsibility for maintenance on the live environment.
Communicate with customers and users via phone and email to troubleshoot and diagnose issues
Troubleshooting technical issues using remote tools and gathering diagnostic information
Writing and updating support cases on a ticketing system
Creating and updating internal documentation and wiki guides
Cover emergency / urgent support issues on weekends and bank holidays as part of the on-call rota
setting up & updating Office365
You Will Have:
Good working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems - Windows 10 Pro.
• Remote support software - Teamviewer.
• Cloud voice Phone systems.
• Basic networking knowledge LAN/Wifi.
• Anti-Virus knowledge.
• knowledge of ticketing systems or have used a ticketing system
