We are now looking for a Technical Team Leader to lead our Infrastructure team and provide hands on support whenever required.
As a Technical Infrastructure Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading the infrastructure team and providing technical support for all infrastructure and middleware, on premise, traditional hosted and Azure IaaS/PaaS, Network and Security.
You would be responsible for identifying customer requirements for Infrastructure architecture and producing proposals that are fit for purpose. Installation and configuration of applications to meet defined and agreed customer requirements with continuous process improvements would also be amongst the various responsibilities of this role.
As a Team Leader, you would manage a small team consisting of Database Administrators, an Azure Infrastructure Engineer and Windows Server Engineers.
With a career path based on a technical discipline, ideally as a Systems Engineer, you would have hands on Technical experience in Cloud Infrastructure (Azure) theories, principles, and practices, Windows Server technologies, MPLS, IPSec VPN, PPTP, and SSLVPN technologies and knowledge of Networking and subnetting IP for a cloud environment coupled with experience of acting as the technical lead on delivering business change projects. You would also have excellent hands on technical experience of Windows 2008, FortiGate, Juniper Firewalls and Checkpoint Firewalls, Cloud Security, Cisco ASA and/or Linux experience.
As an experienced Team Leader, you would have excellent coaching skills and the ability to build strong relationships with the team, internal departments and external suppliers.
You will be confident, well organised and approachable, with the aptitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
