Technical Engineering Sales Manager - £35,000 + 100% bonus (not IT) - £70,000 package
Global CTS is exclusively working with a specialised technical manufacturer based on the outskirts of Wantage. We are looking to recruit a dynamic Sales Account/Channel Manager with a technical/engineering background to carry out day to day sales activities (develop and generation of opportunities) both directly and via a channel market.
- Targeted with finding, developing and closing opportunities, working individually/as part of a team, to meet and exceed individual /or team sales targets and goals
- Customer follow up and retention; researching and developing new leads and existing clients
- Constantly looking for ways to increase the 'close rate’
- Responsibility for relationship and pipeline management and associated partners
- Responding to sales enquiries
- Maintaining the CRM system
- Managing demonstrations and other site visits- some travel involved (twice month max)
- Front line customer service for specific accounts and event coordination
- Accurate forecasting of sales opportunities
- Experience of managing and selling solutions via a channel partner network (Systems Integrators) is preferred
- Experience of selling into and supporting international customers is preferred
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to understand detailed information
- Computer literate & excellent time management skills
- Good interpersonal skills to form effective working relationships with people at all levels
- Ability to compile and interpret stats and present them in a professional manner
- Influencing and negotiating skills
- Flexible and willingness to travel abroad
- Able to take accountability and responsibility for business target delivery and decision-making
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills and the ability to build good relationships with internal staff and customers
