Technical Customer Service Advisor

SF Group are currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Advisor to work for a growing business based in Leicester. As the Technical Sales Advisor you will support customers with their incoming enquiries regarding the company's products.

To be successful as the Technical Sales Advisor you will have previous experience in a customer focused role and ideally have an interest in engineering. Also it would be beneficial if you had an interest in technical assistance.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Responsible for handling incoming technical enquiries, identifying the required solution and responding back to our customers to meet their needs and requirements
  • Sourcing non-standard products and liaising with suppliers
  • Agreeing special prices with suppliers
  • Generating quotations and proposals
  • Following up quotations and proposals
  • Managing CRM data
  • Supporting other teams within the business as required

Core skills:

  • Is technically competent, ideally in engineering although this is not essential
  • Has the ability to effectively engage with customers and respond as required
  • Has strong customer service and telephone relationship skills
  • Has strong IT system skills
  • Can work as part of a very busy team and to very tight deadlines

In return you will be offered an attractive salary of up to £21,000 and work office hours Monday-Friday
