David Davies is a vertically integrated family agri-food business based in Shropshire.

This technical role will be split over 2 packing centres, both operating at BRC AA+ and TescoPIU Blue.

Applicants from FMCG Food/Process Environment background will have a considerable advantage.

You will be liaising with customer base and internal quality control over technical standards and implementation - as well as coordinating our technical manual in collaboration with the rest of the team.

The duties include:

  • Internal auditing
  • Training
  • Sampling
  • Compiling KPI data
  • Key member of HACCP & TACCP team (minimum HACCP level 2 and will require training to level 3)
  • Overseeing company quality control
  • Sales coordination and invoicing

This department is currently made up of 2 Harper graduates and interacts with the majority of the business, with senior management supervision but is not a manager role.

We are looking for an easy going, enthusiastic and friendly individual looking to be part of a team, with good time management, experience of BRC / retailer audits and able work to a deadline even during busy times. Training will be essential so please be prepared to learn.

The position will be predominantly based at Shawbury with some time spent at Minsterley on a weekly basis. The hours required are between 30 - 39 hours / week depending on the individual.
