Your role as our Technical Coordinator will be to support the Business in ensuring the company operates to the highest product quality, hygiene and welfare standards, thus enabling us to deliver our products at the required specifications, legislation and customer standards. You will need to complete internal audits according to the schedule and lead in external audits from customers and 3rd party regulators.
You will have to manage micro testing and report back to the rest of the team regarding findings and corrective actions.
You will be required to assist in the management of the quality management system and help develop and maintain the HACCP plan. Whilst collaborating with all other departments to help with the continuous improvement of the quality and food safety of the products and the site.
We are looking for a confident and well organised individual who can demonstrate solid technical experience from within food manufacturing. Most preferably from within a meat product environment. You will need an excellent understanding of the principles of HACCP. Along with good working knowledge of BRC and Red Tractor standards.
Great communication and diplomacy skills are essential.
A food science / technology qualification is also preferable – HNC, HND, Degree.
