Technical Architect Must have DV Cleared

Reed Professional Services (RPS) has engaged with one of the key Central Government departments to work on a large and complex internal infrastructure project. In order to further compliment the team delivering these programmes, RPS have an exciting opportunity for Technical Architect to join our team of experts based in Croydon to facilitate the successful PPM delivery and support.

Who will you be working for?

RPS provide project delivery and tailored PMO services, helping our customer's projects go from concept to completion. Our project delivery services are custom tailored to meet individual needs, whilst drawing on broad market experience and proven methodology from a variety of sectors including Media, Banking and Central Government. We keep the end goal firmly in mind and can scale as in line with customer needs.

What will you be doing?

Due to the nature of the project, further information can be provided upon request of interview, however core overview of responsibilities -
· Maintain governance of the architectural design, ensuring it is aligned to the core strategic objectives and outcomes of the programme.
· Ensure all development complies with relevant control strategies.
· Development of the data architecture and management.
· Manager / coach staff to drive best practice and continuous improvement.

Experience:
v Experience in Cloud (AWS or Hybrid) based architecture designs and implementations and working with the Java tech stack would be plus.
v Looking for someone with prior experience working within the public sector / central government and proven experience working within Agile environments following TDD/BDD principles
v Demonstrable experience delivering systems in a central functions environment.
v Experience working with AWS cloud applications from scratch and advising on implementation.

Candidate must hold valid DV (Developed Vetting) Clearance or have held (current or lapsed) security clearance at DV level.
