Technical Architect / Data Architect - Applications
To £75K + extensive benefits package
All candidates must either hold already or be willing and eligible to hold UK Security Clearance to SC level.
This is an Applications Architect role.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
The ideal person for this role will be a Technical Architect with a strong background in Data Architecture and ideally specific knowledge of POLE data. It is also essential that you have excellent Applications Architecture experience. You must have good experience of managing stakeholders and building a rapport with both your own team and the various technical client teams. You must also have the ability to see the bigger picture and use this bigger picture to identify possible new business opportunities for the team.
It would be preferable if you have previously worked within the Public Sector as an Architect, although this is not essential. Due to the nature of the work, you must either have current Security clearance or should be willing and eligible to achieve the appropriate level of security clearance needed to work in this role.
Essential skills - You must have a strong background in data DNA applications, application architecture design & Data Architecture.
Desirable - Ideally you will have Public sector experience and knowledge of POLE data.
This role sits within our Central Government Business, and more specifically within the professional services team. We are looking for a Data Architect / Technical Architect to work on a project onsite with one of our Government department clients. They will be working as part of a large transformation programme overseeing design of new data models across the customer organisation. You will be working alongside our customers’ Lead Architects, investigating their current systems, looking at new data, and being very customer focused.
Our customer wishes to drill into intelligence reports across 3 major apps they have in the organisation and want a single physical data model across those 3 Apps.
Working with the Applications Transformation and Case Management teams you will investigate the existing POLE and Intelligence Report models for three key applications and produce a single logical and ultimately physical data model design for a common Intelligence Report and POLE data model across the organisation.
The Technical Architect / Data Architect will also work alongside a Business Analyst to investigate what business capability and processes can be subsumed from the L3 applications into CM and thus potentially expanding the current scope of the CM work and allow for the possible decommission of the L3 applications.
