About The Role
Provides a level of technical knowledge to undertake the troubleshooting and resolution to production incidents or problems independently. Completes tasks to agreed levels of quality, within stated timescales with no supervision. Looks for improvement opportunities within the team and its processes/procedures. An effective team member who provides support and guidance to peers and junior team members. Contributes to team efficiency through the creation of accurate technical documentation.
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge in the areas below
IT Infrastructure skill set with Windows Server 2008R2, 2012 R2 &/or 2016
Standard Infrastructure operations technologies (e.g. AD, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
Knowledge of SQL Server database systems
Application Support Skills
HP Server / Blade / Cluster Technology.
An appreciation of web services, XML standards
An appreciation of Windows based applications.
Branch Systems (Focus) support.
OTHER SKILLS WHICH WILL BE REQUIRED BY THE ROLE
SQL Server Database (2005, 2008, 2012) installation & management
Exchange email services (2010).
IIS, COM, web browser, .net and associated Internet/Intranet technology.
SAN technology (NetApp) and utilities.
SCCM (2007, 2012)
