Working for this established and growing organisation, the Technical Administratorwill be key to the continued success of the business. The Technical Administratorwill work as part of a support team to provide a professional customer focused administration service, ensuring that the most effective systems and processes are followed at all times and customers’ needs are not just consistently met but also exceeded.The Technical Administratorwill be rewarded with 25 days’ holidays plus Bank Holidays, a contributory pension scheme, death in service, healthcare and annual pay reviews.

To apply for theTechnical Administratorrole, you will have previous clerical skills, gained within a professional office environment. You will possess a strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook and have the capacity to learn new systems quickly. The Technical Administratorwill have a clear understanding of the importance of exceptional service to both internal and external customers

Key Responsibilities:

To provide a professional administration service, ensuring that the most effective systems and processes are followed at all times and both, internal and external customers’ needs are not just consistently met but exceeded.

Overview of Responsibilities

  • To support the Technical Administration Team Leader in the efficient running of the service
  • To manage incoming correspondence, including hard copies as well as web-based client portals
  • Ensure the information is correctly scanned, uploaded, filed, renamed and distributed/notified as necessary to ensure ease of use by the end user
  • Proactively chase clients for all outstanding information from their reports, using the specific responses to enable efficient progression of the process
  • To extract information from the system for use by the technical teams
  • To liaise with clients and their teams in order to collate information required via web shares and dropbox, saving in the relevant place
  • To efficiently deal with administration and monitoring of technical and engineering referrals, managing data requests, storage and communicating clearly between internal departments and external clients
  • To monitor the reports raised from the team and client responses against agreed Service Level Agreements
  • To assist with the allocation of the Help Desk duties across the team, to ensure an even workload

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in the use of computer systems - MS Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Confident client manner

  • Performance driven, ability to work within deadlines
  • Tenacious, ability to complete the task
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience of working within an administration team, operating similar processes and systems
  • Ability to carry out general administration and clerical tasks to good standard
  • Ability to maintain files and records accurately
  • Ability to organise own workload efficiently, prioritising as necessary
  • Demonstrable ability to use own initiative and flexible in personal approach
