We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Administrator to join our UK organisation on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be the designated point of contact between UKAS and SGS and be responsible for generating reports and monitoring auditing findings and closures.
The annual pro-rated salary is £11,000 - £12,000 based on working 22 hours per week. SGS also offer an excellent benefits package including an annual performance bonus of up to 10%, a minimum of 23 days' holiday increasing with service, child care vouchers and discount schemes, plus a contributory stakeholder pension with a matching contribution of up to 6%.
- Primary point of contact for UKAS accreditation and the co-ordination of these activities; includingwitness audit selection, reporting, facilitation of continual improvements and responses where identified, processing of scope extension applications and ensuring our adherence to guidelines and deadlines set by UKAS.
Provision of regular, accurate and timely reports as required, to assist management to monitor efficiency and effectiveness of their teams.
Implementation of internal continual improvements as required to maintain effective operating systems.
Support the testing & implementation of new databases to ensure effective operations of business and ongoing profitability.
Provision of assistance to the Technical Team members with their duties to help cover peaks in workload and/or leave.
Dealing with enquiries regarding other services offered by SGS and routing them to the appropriate person / department.
Facilitation and organisation of committee meetings to ensure that all communication is accurate and on time, including the recording of minutes.
Creation and amendment of SharePoint sites as required to meet the business requirements.
Provision of a great service and support to other accreditation bodies as required (APMG, SSIP / LANTRA)
The successful candidate will have previous experience in an administrative environment and will be competent using MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint. We are looking for an excellent relationship builder and someone who can communicate effectively at all levels.
