You will provide a comprehensive administrative support to the multi-disciplinary staff of the TEC Service and may be required to cover for other TEC Administrators when absent. The post holder will act as the main point of contact and prioritise the communications within the TEC Service to ensure provision of a seamless care to patients with Long Term Conditions and will use initiative work with minimum supervision to meet deadlines and maintain a flexible and professional approach within an environment in which respect for confidentiality is paramount.

In order to provide more co-ordinated care for patients with Long Term Conditions Ayrshire and Arran Health and Social Care Partnerships are establishing a network of 'Technology Enabled Care Services' across Ayrshire. Patients who are being cared for will monitor their long term condition from their own homes. Technology Enabled Care Service will be headed by an Advanced Nurse Practitioner administered by this post holder and will be supported by multidisciplinary team of staff including Service lead GP ANP District Nurses Pharmacy and Physiotherapy in liaison with Local Authority Social Services teams.

You will provide administrative support to the multidisciplinary staff of the TEC Service and will act as the main point of contact for prioritising communication within the TEC Services in order to provide seamless care to patients.

You should have an HNC/SVQ 4 in Secretarial Studies/ Business Administration or equivalent experience and have extensive proven knowledge and experience of administrative procedures. This role requires tact and the ability to communicate and support staff at all levels with patients.

Hours: 37.5 per week

This is a fixed term/secondment opportunity until 31st March 2019
