Based in central Birmingham, this Team Secretary position reports to the Office Manager of the Commercial Division, providing audio and copy typing; diary and travel management; marketing and communications support to the friendly team.

This Team Secretary role is a great opportunity for a client focused Team Assistant / Secretary with good audio and copy typing and an interest in using lots of different software applications and learning about new systems. No two days will be the same in this busy commercial property department, which would suit someone adaptable and proactive and keen to learn about property marketing, branding and communications.

Requirements:

*Previous secretarial / administrative experience within professional services
*Good audio and copy typing - 60 wpm
*Strong IT skills with the ability to create PDF files, scan documents and manipulate images
*Advanced Word and Excel including mail merge
*Good PowerPoint skills
*Ideally experience organising diaries and arranging travel and meetings
*Flair for English language with good spelling and grammar
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Strong organisational skills
*Well spoken, clear speaking voice
*Good sense of humour!

Responsibilities:

*Managing diaries and organising meetings
*Audio and copy typing reports, letters, minutes, tender documentation
*Creating and managing electronic and paper files
*Operating the fee invoicing system
*Organising corporate travel
*Liaising with clients
*Assisting with projects
*Answering all incoming calls
*Organising client entertainment
*Opening and distributing post
*Dealing with expense claims
*Preparing PowerPoint presentations
*Assisting in drafting and collating pitching material
*Liaising with the Marketing department regarding format and branding
