Prestigious international Company is currently seeking to recruit a smart, bright and pro-active Team Secretary / Senior Office Administrator to manage the administration of their London overseas Centre.
Essentially, we are looking for a Candidate who can carry out a 6 months’ maternity leave contract with the possibility of being extended to a 9 months’ contract.
As the overseas Centre Secretary / Senior Office Administrator you will work with the Regional Director, to support the Centre’s Administration, Accounts, HR and Logistics work for the operation.
You will also be responsible for assisting the Regional Director in handling enquiries related to market and trade, involving Far East companies.
Responsibilities to include:
Manage the daily administration of the Centre, including, but not limited to, Accounting / Book-Keeping, Finance, Budgeting, Monitoring of expense utilisation and rental/deposit payments, renewal payments of licences/bank accounts similar.
Support the Regional Director with logistics arrangements for travel in Europe for both internal stakeholders and for organised company visits by Far East companies.
Update the existing database of European and UK consultants (lawyers/accountants, etc) that the Company works with and assist with directing linking Far East companies with relevant in-market partners.
Oversee the maintenance of the office and its inventories and assets.
Requirements as follows:
A degree, preferably, in business management and/or administration.
2 to 3 years’ experience in Office Administration.
Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
Excellent command of spoken and written English is mandatory as the person is required to liaise with external vendors and clients.
Ability to problem solve, resourceful and tact to deal with external clients is essential.
Can-do attitude, adaptable and detail orientated.
Prior experience with event organisation is a plus
