As a warehouse team leader you are responsible for monitoring, evaluating and supervising the day to day activities of team members employed to work in a warehouse, to ensure operations run seamlessly.
• Be responsible for the quality of products transferred to production, should you find any products that is not up to quality required by Taiko standards, they must NOT be transferred to the production and Manager informed.• Check that the materials, packaging and labels picked by the warehouse team are correct and the quantities are correct according to the planner.
• Have ownership of the duties in the area that you are assigned to in any aspect of operationincluding machinery, personnel training, and technical requirement.• Report errors in picking or stock shortages in a timely manner• Assist in arranging stock transfer from third party warehouses in Warehouse Supervisor's absence• Ensure that the Warehouse team follow all the company rules and procedures• Ensure that warehouse, picking room, vegetable chiller and fish freezer are kept tidy at all times• Make sure that the goods-in procedure is observed when the warehouse team receive any goods into the warehouse• Monitor traceability through Navision and ensure Warehouse team is following the correct procedures• Ensure that all the Warehouse paperwork is completed accurately.• Provide cover for Warehouse Systems Controller/Warehouse QC/Warehouse Supervisor in case of absence.
