Team Leader - Kirkstall House, Leeds

We are looking for someone who is motivated, enthusiastic, creative and hardworking. We would like to employ someone who has an understanding of safeguarding and understand the role. Candidates must not be judgemental or opinionated. We look for candidates who show willing to learn and people that have an understanding of behavior management.
Kirkstall House is 3-bed Complex Needs home. The service provides therapeutic interventions young people where required, to support young people to develop resilience and understand their behaviours.
Kirkstall house is on the outskirts of the city in a lovely semi-rural area named Horsforth. The street itself consists of residential properties, bungalows and apartments. The area has great transport links to Leeds, Bradford and Horsforth.

Team Leader
Must be over 21 or over
Driving licence – desirable
Level 3 Health and Social Care in children and young people
Experience working in a residential setting for 12 months

No day is the same but you will:-

- Provide support and care to each individual
- Provide encouragement when getting ready for education
- Travel with the residents (Use of Company Car)
- Complete care planning
- Complete Task Sheets
- Complete Meal Preparation
- Organise and facilitate social activities
- Maintain the home (cleaning, laundry and shopping etc.)
- Maintain home management
- Liaise with external stakeholders and our own multi-disciplinary team

Salary ranges
Team Leader - £9.60 p/h

Shift pattern – Typical 2-week Rota
Monday – 7.30 am – 3.30 pm
Tuesday – Day off
Wednesday – 7.30 am – 11.00 pm sleep
Thursday – Day off
Friday – 7.30 am – 11.00 pm sleep
Saturday – Day off
Sunday – Day off
Monday – 3.00 pm – 11.00 pm - sleep
Tuesday – Day off
Wednesday – Day off
Thursday – 7.30 am – 11.00 pm sleep
Friday – Day off
Saturday – Day off
Sunday – 7.30 am – 11.00 pm sleep

- This is an example of a 2-week Rota and will not be the actual Rota given to yourself. All staff have different Rota’s to match the needs of the home.
- You will be given your Rota 3 weeks in advance.
