Team Leader - Dementia Support, Immediate Start (R01471)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Permanent Team Leader - for the Derbyshire Dementia Support Service to join Making Space, a not-for-profit care provider based at Ashover Business Centre, Kelstedge Derbyshire and Derby West Business Centre, Derby. In return we offer a competitive salary of £18,564 per annum.

With responsibility for the day to day operational management of the Dementia Advisors throughout the County of Derbyshire, you will ensure organisational policies, procedures and targets are achieved to the required standard. You must have experience of working within a health and social care environment and managing a team. You must also have a passion for work in Dementia. A Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social or a willingness to work towards is essential and the successful post holder will demonstrate the 'Six Cs’ - care, compassion, competence, communication, courage and commitment.

Working hours are 35 per week primarily Monday- Friday there may be occasional weekend and evening work.
