Team Leader - Residential Child Care

Our Team Leaders are valued members of our management team and are provided with a comprehensive induction and training programme which enables them to develop the necessary knowledge and skills to become highly effective child care professionals. Experience of working in a care setting is essential and residential child care experience is desirable. You must be able to demonstrate your passion and commitment to supporting our young people and leading a team of residential child care practitioners. You will have a recognised child care qualification i.e. HNC Social Care and / or SVQ3 health & social care, children and young people and be willing to work towards achieving the SVQ level 4.

Salary: £10.50 - £11.50 Dependent on experience and qualifications.

Hours: 37.5hrs, sleepovers are also required in addition to this.

Shift pattern: Full and part time shifts available. On-call duties are also required.

Due to the nature of the role, it will be necessary for all applicants to be subject to a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check by Disclosure Scotland and achieve membership of the scheme prior to commencing work with us. We will pay for this.

All candidates must be successfully registered with the SSSC within 6 months of employment. Please note, a driving licence is essential due to the location of our services and the requirements of the role. Any data received in applications will be used for recruitment purposes within ACAD and our parent company only and will not be retained for longer than 6 months.
