Team Lead - Senior Developer .NET / C# - Permanent - Eastbourne, East Sussex

Xact Placements has an outstanding opportunity for a Team Lead/Senior Developer who is looking for a position that will enable them to progress into architecture. If you are a Senior Developer with mentoring experience or a current Team Lead we would be interested in hearing from you. Our client specialises in claim manager services for insurance companies and works with market leading brands as well as well-known retailers.

The successful candidate would have:

Required Key Skills

  • Experience with Angular (Angular 2 preferred)
  • A good current knowledge of C# and .Net 3.5+
  • Experience with NServiceBus
  • A background in mentoring Developers
  • Experience using Visual Studio 2012 and SQL Server Management Studio
  • Knowledge of common Design Patterns and how to apply them to real world scenarios
  • Worked on large web applications
  • A detailed understanding of SQL Server and T-SQL
  • Understanding of Object Orientated programming concepts
  • An in-depth knowledge of the underlying web-principles (HTTP, DNS)
  • Experience in using HTML, CSS and JavaScript to build web applications

Desirable skills that could differentiate you as the ideal candidate:

  • Have used the Microsoft MVC Framework
  • TDD Experience
  • Used SVN for source control
  • Experience using NHibernate or similar ORM
  • Understanding of the SOLID principles
  • Previous experience using WCF, Windows Services, XML, XSLT, SOAP
  • Used any of the following libraries; StructureMap, FluentValidation, NuGet, Log4Net, FakeItEasy,

Salary: Up to £55,000 plus benefits

Remote working is available 1 - 2 days per week
