Team Assistant Maternity Cover

We a currently recruiting for a Team Assistant Maternity Cover at a successful and growing financial services firm based in London (Mayfair specifically). It is a really warm and welcoming team with a fantastic office culture and low staff turnover.

This is a company where everyone mucks in and they currently have a tight knit admin team of 4. The London office has been growing at a rapid rate; it has doubled in the last 2.5 years and is still growing!

The duration of the contract is 10 - 12 months and the role is paying £27,000 - £34,000 DOE.

Role: Team Assistant
Start date: March at the very latest
Duration: 10 - 12 months (to be confirmed)
Salary: £27,000 - £34,000 depending on experience

The role is spread across two teams and covering 11 people in total (but primarily focusing on 6).

Duties include:

  • Extensive international travel
  • Preparing detailed schedules and meeting packs
  • Organising everchanging meetings over various time zones
  • Processing expenses
  • Managing the database (Salesforce)
  • Preparing presentations

The teams travel constantly to Europe, the USA and Asia so experience of international travel is absolutely key! There is an agent who helps to organise flights but you would be responsible for everything else from start to finish (including preparing extensive schedules).

Overall the client is looking for someone who is personable, well presented, highly organised and not easily flustered. Someone who will very much be a part of the team.

As the company is growing quickly, they have mentioned that there is potential for this role to go permanent after the Team Assistant maternity cover. Although nothing can be guaranteed, this is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door!
