This post is 32.5 hours per week, 36 weeks of the year (27.5 of these hours will be as a Teaching Support Officer and 5 will be a Skills Tutor)
You will work closely with the lecturing staff to ensure that the students receive the necessary support and that the kitchen and store areas are run successfully and efficiently to support a high-quality curriculum delivery. You will also provide some practical skills tuition and assessment for learners. Some reception cover will also be required as part of this role as well as occasional evening cover. You will have a level 3 qualification in Hospitality and relevant industry experience including within a busy restaurant or catering environment. You will also have a Teaching qualification (e.g. Certificate in Education and Training/CTLLS) and Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE A*-C) or equivalents, or be willing to obtain them.
