We require 2 new Teaching Assistants with relevant qualifications and experience to work across all key stages, supporting pupils with 1:1 needs. The successful candidate(s) will support access to learning for students and provide general support to class teachers and other education staff in the management of pupils and the learning environment. Work may sometimes be carried out outside the main teaching area including off site locations and therefore you will be required to have business insurance and use your own car from time to time. Longdon Park School will pay for the additional cost of this insurance.
It would be an advantage to have experience in planning and leading parts of lessons within the classroom setting. The ability to contribute to the development of our growing school is essential and we believe that energy, passion and a commitment to high standards are key characteristics required.
We are looking for outstanding individuals who are able to help re engage the young people that we serve. Experience in working with pupils who have a diagnosis of autistic spectrum disorder would be an advantage. This is an opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their skills and experience in a challenging, motivating and yet highly rewarding environment.
